En un templo subterráneo serca de las pirámides de Yucatán. Un joven nahual llamado Tlazohtzin busca aprender más sobre su espíritu y su conexión al universo. Tlazohtzin viaja al plano astral esperando poder ascender su alma pero falla al aprender que su alma humana no le permite transcender. Arrepentido por su egoísmo, el joven regresa al plano fisico. Sin saber leer o escribir, Tlazohtzin compuso este álbum para describir sus experiencias. El joven sigue estudiando y recorriendo el mundo pero ah encontrado la paz en el eterno presente.
